Biography

I am a Teaching Assistant in Computer Engineering at Boğaziçi University. Also, I am studying for a PhD degree and hold BSc and MSc degrees in the same department. My research interests include deep learning, cheminformatics and natural language processing.

I am working under the supervision of Arzucan Özgür and Elif Özkırımlı and a member of AILAB and TABILAB.

As part of Using Turkish WordNet for Machine Translation – a project funded by The Scientific and Technological Research Council of Turkey with grant number 116E104 – I tested, refactored and documented an open source NLP toolkit and WordNet for Turkish. I also participated in development of user interfaces for the toolkit and Turkish WordNet to make them accessible to everyone.
