Biography

I am a Teaching Assistant in Computer Engineering at Boğaziçi University. Also, I am studying for a PhD degree and hold BSc and MSc degrees in the same department. My research interests include deep learning, cheminformatics and natural language processing.

I am working under the supervision of Arzucan Özgür and Elif Özkırımlı and a member of AILAB and TABILAB.

As part of Using Turkish WordNet for Machine Translation – a project funded by The Scientific and Technological Research Council of Turkey with grant number 116E104 – I tested, refactored and documented an open source NLP toolkit and WordNet for Turkish. I worked in tazi.ai, which is a company providing adaptive machine learning solutions, as a machine learning engineer. I made significant contributions to development of real time recommendation and anomaly detection systems.
